Abstract
The research paper takes into consideration the role of promoting the linkage of the supporting industry (SI) of Vietnam in the context from the end of 2019 up to now, the world and domestic economies are suffering from severe impact from the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to push back the challenges, the development of supporting industries will be of utmost importance in promoting the connection between domestic SI busniesses and assembly enterprises, FDI enterprises... to improve the localization rate then enhance the added value of the product and enhance the competitiveness of the product and the economy... Based on the inter-sector balance sheet (I/O) approach, the article identifies the coefficients of the link between the SI and other manufacturing industries in the economy and the whole economy. On these bases, the conclusion of the article shows that the SI has an important role as the leading supply sector, entering the manufacturing industries in the economy and promoting linkages will be of great significance in the process of developing the industries of Vietnam in the pandemic.Nguồn tin: Journal of Trade Science
