Abstract
The aim of this study is to measure economic efficiency of two ricecropsin Chau Phu District, An Giang Province. Additionally, the study examines the determinants of economic efficiency of such the pattern by using OLS regression. Using data interviewed directly at farmers producing two rice crops per year in Chau Phu District, An Giang Province. The results reveal that if farmers invest 1.977.156 VND/1000m2, their return will be 4.234.273 VND/1000m2. Labor, fertilizer, productivity and harvest costs and rice price strongly affect the economic efficiency of the two rice crops.
