 1. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan - Completing the urban trade infrastructure in Vietnams integration context
On 1st December 2009, Vietnam officially opened its retail distribution sector under WTO commitments. This is an opportunity for our country's cities to promote a modern distribution system and the commercial infrastructure as well. Urban commercial infrastructure planning has been paid special attention and appropriate investment by the government. But the implementing process reveals that our urban commercial infrastructure is still insufficient, incomplete and low-quality, thus failing to meet the business needs of the modern urban am id the international economic integration context. On the basis of generalizing the basic concepts of urban commercial infrastructure, the author uses sociological survey, statistical, analysis, comparison methods... to assess the current status of Vietnams urban commercial infrastructure, from which proposes a number of solutions to complete the commercial infrastructure to meet our country's urban integration requirements.
2. Nguyen Hoang Long - Research on measuring customer-based brand equity of products
Brand equity is an important concept in both business reality and academic research because enterprises can obtain their competitive advantage by a sucessful brand. Although brand equity can be defined from many aspects, there are two most common concepts: brand equity for customers and brand equity for enterprises. Many enterprises looking for development opportunities have paid more attentions to exploiting their present brands, therefore, management of forming brand is the official result of enterprises strategy. Its clear that the importance of brand equity has increased, but its deficient in a tool to measure customer-based brand equity and financial results. Particularly, in such a developing market as Vietnam, concept of brand equity is not clear and many managers feel confused in finding a reliable instrument to measure brand equity. Because brand equity originates in customers awareness, it will be useful if the managers can measure and monitor it at customer level. The theme of this paper is to develop measurement of customer-based brand equity, besides, the paper also considers the relation between customer-based brand equity  of a product and the financial results of the enterprise in the business of that product.
3. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lien - Measures to improve the capital adequacy ratio of Vietnam commercial banks in the trend of international integration
Based on the study of the Basel 1 , 2 and 3 and the survey of the recent state of Vietnam commercial banks capital adequacy ratios using secondary information sources, along with comparing those ratios with foreign banks ones, the paper proposes some ideas to improve the capital adequacy ratios of Vietnam commercial banks in the hope that they will contribute to the sustainable development of the banking system in Vietnam, helping them gradually reach the international standards and practices.
4. Nguyen Hoang Viet and Chu Dinh Dong - Study on the core competencies of vietnam companies in recent context
This study examined the historical lessons of the 90s, the period affected by the global financial crisis of the late 80s last century. It has shown that most companies which survived over the time had conducted restructure and besides M&A trend, successful companies restructured their own business strategy, which leads to a conclusion that, the successful business strategies in this era often place orientations not product, but more in value with the market and rely more on the capacities that were hard to be attacked and imitated by competitors, i.e strategies are becoming more "knowledge", increasingly depend on the core competency which lies deeply inside the process and the behavior of the organization. In brief, the rapid and effective response has become a key factor for enterprises success in this post-crisis period.
5. An Thi Thanh Nhan - Development of vietnam logistics service enterprises in the context of integration the current state and solutions
Having a great potential for logistics development, Vietnamese logistics enterprises have been constantly growing up in the beginning period and contributing 15% of GDP annually. Although Vietnam's logistics industry is still young, there are many opportunities for the growth of this industry in the integration context. The development of logistics enterprises is fundamental to promote the growth of this important supporting industry. By collecting secondary information to review the situation and assess the current status of logistics businesses in Vietnam, combining with analyzing the basic factors affecting the potential development of the logistics industry in the future, this article brings out some directions and solutions to contribute to the development of logistics enterprises.
6. Vu Manh Chien and Nguyen Thi Xuan Quynh - The relationship between ownership and management rights in Vietnam state-owned economic groups and corporations
The article stems from the agency theory and research on ownership and representatives in Vietnam state-owned enterprises to analyze the effects of separating ownership and management rights on the business performance of state-owned corporations and groups. By studying some typical group models in Vietnam, examining and evaluating the position, role and interfere mechanism of the state entities in state-owned groups, the authors conclude as the follows: there is the lack of apparent separation between ownership and management rights in state-owned economic groups that enables managers to pursue their personal goals, which results in unsound decisions seriously affecting the state investment capital.
7. Bui Huu Duc  at al - Research on social responsibility of art handicroft goods from wood firms in dong giao trade village - hai duong
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been recently noticed in Vietnam. However, Vietnamese firms in general and fine art covered wood firms in particular still have poor awareness toward social responsibilities. Thus, social responsibilities are inadequately performed by woodwork firms. On the basis of existing concepts on SH and fact finding in some fine art covered wood firms in Dong Giao (Luong Dien Commune, Cam Giang District, Hai Duong Province), this following research would like to propose some recommendations in order to enhance the awareness toward CSR and the performance of this issue in the future.
8. Nguyen Viet Thai - State management of tourism in phu quoc island: status and solutions
The development strategy for Vietnam Tourism to 2020, vision 2030 has identified:   " ... the investment and development of tourism products and models which have the advantage of tourism resources of the country and of each local. Priority in developing tourism model associated with islands; emphasizing cultural factors and ecological characteristics of tourism products. Focus on developing the beach resorts with high quality to create brand and increase competitiveness in the region and the world. ". " ... By 2020, Vietnam would be in groups of countries which are the most developed in beach tourism in the region (with Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia) with the sharp destination image. Hence, Vietnam must form at least 5 world-class beach resorts with high competitiveness in the region which are Halong - Cat Ba, Lang Co - Son Tra - Hoi An, Nha Trang - Cam Ranh, Phan Thiet - Mui Ne and Phu Quoc”.
